GREENPEACE BRASIL

Hello ROSE,

Today, Greenpeace made a trip to the past and went to the factory Chevrolet - General Motors (GM) in São Caetano do Sul, São Paulo. With a protest outside the industrial plant, Greenpeace pointed out the problem: vehicles that are produced there, everything is more than old and outdated. And that's why the organization protested in front of the Chevrolet to remind her that it's time to modernize and invest in efficiency.

With the messages "Welcome to the Past" and "modern car is efficient car", activists ironizaram the fact that Chevrolet still be in the past when the topic is vehicle efficiency. Fact is that the cars produced in Brazil have more modern technology, consume less fuel and this would mean that in 2030, the country would have lower emissions than today, even if the vehicle fleet of the country fold, as estimated.

It is not today that Greenpeace presses Chevrolet - and Fiat and Volkswagen, the three largest automakers in Brazil - to become more efficient. In April this year, the organization launched the challenge that these companies are committed to the same goals of energy efficiency that are already in vogue in the European Union by 2021.

You can help us to press the Chevrolet, Fiat and Volkswagen to modernize. Share the petition and order cars cleaner and more efficient.
