Spelling Mistakes (Vowels)

Many time, people make spelling mistakes in Hindi which happen because of the confusion of using right vowels, consonants or suffixes. For a Hindi learner, these spelling mistakes are even more difficult to handle because of early mistakes they make in pronunciation and spelling.

One reason why these spelling mistakes happen could be that we tend judge the spelling on the basis of how we speak/pronounce a word. In Hindi, you could be relieved by the fact that we are saved because we write in the same way as we speak/spell them.

However, for all early Hindi learner, lets explore the possibility of making mistakes (some common spelling mistakes) related to vowels in Hindi with given examples.

Use of “अ” in place of “आ”
