'Smartphone cheapest in the world' is launched in India

No Brasil, a distância é ainda maior. Custando por aqui o equivalente a R$ 29,40, o celular custa 0,7% do preço de um iPhone 6s, vendido na Apple Store brasileira por R$ 4 mil.
A empresa Ringing Bells foi criada em setembro e começou a vender telefones celulares em seu site há algumas semanas, indicou uma porta-voz. Quanto ao novo produto, "é nosso modelo principal e pensamos que trará uma revolução ao setor", afirmou.
No mercado indiano podem ser encontrados modelos baratos de smartphones, muitos deles de fabricação chinesa, mas os fabricantes locais não param de ganhar espaço, com modelos que são vendidos a menos de US$ 20.
A Índia é o segundo maior mercado mundial de celulares, e de acordo com o regulador nacional de telecomunicações o país alcançou em outubro um bilhão de usuários.
