GREENPEACE REVISTA

Hello Rose,

Transparency is to demonstrate sincerity, being true and correct not only to make a decision, but also throughout the process that involves such a choice. When this happens, the environment and the most basic rights are violated.

The third edition of Greenpeace Magazine sheds light on the importance of transparency of environmental and social policies in Brazil. Our menu is full of great articles, interviews, reviews, photo essays and multimedia material, check out:

In partnership with with the Public Agency for Investigative Journalism, our cover story addresses the industry of Studies and Environmental Impact Report (EIA / RIMA) of the country, formed by companies that they measure impacts of major projects with vested interests;
We will show how the lack of transparency in the construction and licensing of hydroelectric plants of Belo Monte and Tapajós affected local populations. And to deepen the issue, the Federal Public Ministry participates in the "Green Debate" on environmental licensing;
We interviewed Dom Erwin Kräutler, Bishop of Xingu for 50 years and one of the biggest opponents of big projects in the Amazon;
Check out the story of young people who have had their lives transformed by solar power and follow the "Ilustratudo" the operation step by step in a solar panel;
Independent journalists analyze the role and the importance of production of information that escapes the hegemonic discourse of the mainstream media;
And a beautiful, though impressive, photo shoot on the water crisis.
Greenpeace Magazine is free and independent, as well as our organization. So go, read and share with their friends and family, social networks, in your school and college. We will take this message as far as possible. Only then we can build a transparent Brazil that respects the basic rights of people and also the environment.
