Hindi, the official language of India brings harmony and understanding between all the Indians. We celebrate Hindi Day or Hindi Diwas on 14th September every year as on 14th September 1949. As per the article (343), the Indian Constitution adopted Hindi in Devanagri Script as the official language of the union under in 1950. It was envisioned that Hindi would become the sole working language of the Central government by 1965 (per directives in Article 344 (2) and Article 351).
We proud to be Indians and Hindi unites all of us. On this day many programs to promote Hindi are been organized across the country. Mahavir Prasad Dwivedi, Jaishankar Prasad, Suryakant Tripathi 'Nirala', Mahadevi Varma and Sumitranandan Pant to name a few who served Hindi Literature and given us tremendous quality content in Hindi.
Below are lines written by Bharatendu Harishchandra where he has shown the importance of Hindi for the development of country and Indians.
Lets celebrate Hindi Divas on 14th September to give ousself some more proud.
