Greenpeace lançou uma campanha de emergência para parar a gigante da mineração imprudente Whitehaven Coal do achatamento da antiga Leard Floresta Estadual , repleta de dezenas de espécies ameaçadas de extinção .

Isso está acontecendo porque nosso Governo do Estado - que anteriormente descrito Leard Floresta Estadual como " insubstituível " com "valores ecológicos únicos " - decidiu aconchegar com Big Carvão e do fast-track sua licença para arrasar a floresta. Estão matando inúmeros animais nativos no processo, toda a construção de uma mina de carvão monstro de novo .

Vamos construir uma petição de emergência hoje com o ministro do Planejamento, NSW recém-instalado - Pru Goward - pedindo-lhe para parar o massacre na Floresta Estadual Leard e permanecer fiel à sua palavra para salvar este habitat insubstituível.

Greenpeace has launched an emergency campaign to stop reckless mining giant Whitehaven Coal from flattening the ancient Leard State Forest, filled with dozens of endangered and threatened species.

This is happening because our State Government - who previously described Leard State Forest as “irreplaceable” with “ecologically unique values” - has decided to cosy up with Big Coal and fast-track their licence to bulldoze the forest. They’re killing countless native animals in the process, all the build a monster-new coal mine.

Let’s build an emergency petition today to the newly installed NSW Planning Minister - Pru Goward - asking her to stop the carnage in the Leard State Forest and stay true to their word to save this irreplaceable habitat.
